CANCELLATION RIGHTS

Your 14-day cancellation rights

Aice Limited (Company No. 14726496) trading as GoZtartUp. Last updated 25 June 2026.

This page explains your statutory right to cancel the GoZtartUp Service Agreement under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (often called the "Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013" or CCR 2013).

What this page covers: these cancellation rights apply when you have entered into the GoZtartUp Service Agreement for our regulatory build service. They do not apply to the free eligibility call or to the completion of an eligibility application, because no purchase contract is formed at those stages.

1. Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer entering into a Service Agreement with us at a distance (for example, over the phone, by video call, or by email signature without meeting us in person), you have a statutory right to cancel that Agreement within 14 days, without giving any reason.

The 14-day cancellation period starts on the day after the day the Service Agreement is formed (the "Cancellation Period").

2. How to cancel

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel by a clear statement. You can do this by:

  • Sending an email to [email protected] with the subject "Cancellation"
  • Writing to us at Aice Limited, 335 Manchester Road East, Little Hulton, Manchester M38 9AR
  • Replying to our service confirmation email with your cancellation request

Your cancellation must be received within the 14-day Cancellation Period. We will acknowledge your cancellation in writing within one working day.

You do not need to give a reason for cancelling. A simple statement such as "I wish to cancel my GoZtartUp Service Agreement" is sufficient.

3. Refund of fees paid

If you cancel within the 14-day Cancellation Period and the service has not yet begun (see Section 4):

  • We will refund all fees you have paid us under the Service Agreement
  • The refund will be made within 14 days of receiving your cancellation
  • The refund will be made using the same payment method you used to pay, unless we agree otherwise
  • You will not pay any fees or charges for the refund

4. Starting the service during the Cancellation Period

The 16-week regulatory build is a service that requires us to begin work soon after the Service Agreement is signed. Document collection, scoping calls, and initial preparation must start quickly to deliver within the 16-week window.

If you want us to start the service during the Cancellation Period (before the 14 days have expired), we will ask for your express consent to do so. This is required by Regulation 36 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

If you give that consent and then cancel during the Cancellation Period:

  • You still have the right to cancel
  • You will be charged for the work we have actually carried out before you cancel, on a pro-rata basis
  • The amount charged will be proportionate to what has been performed in comparison with the full service under the Agreement
  • We will refund the balance of any fees you have paid above this pro-rata amount, within 14 days of receiving your cancellation

If you do not give consent to start the service during the Cancellation Period: we will not start work until the 14 days have passed. This may shorten the time available within the 16-week window or push back your start date. We will discuss the impact with you before the Service Agreement begins.

5. After the 14-day Cancellation Period

Once the 14-day Cancellation Period has ended, the statutory right to cancel no longer applies. Cancellation of the Agreement after this point is governed by the cancellation, termination, and refund terms set out in the Service Agreement itself.

The Service Agreement also includes the Regulator-Ready Guarantee, which sets out specific remedies if your application is rejected before interview or inspection due to a documentation error caused by GoZtartUp. The Regulator-Ready Guarantee is separate from the statutory 14-day cancellation right and operates alongside it.

6. How your statutory rights interact with the Service Agreement

Nothing in our Service Agreement excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If anything in the Service Agreement appears to limit those statutory rights, the statutory rights take precedence.
